Everyone saw a smiling faceAll were touched by the joy
he spread where ever he went
he seemed a man
always on the go
always finding a way to bring a smile
bringing so much joy
a smile always on his face
no one realized he wore a mask
that the smile was for show
no one knew
that he gave all his joy away
and saved none for himself
the world didn't know
the despair he felt
no realized how trapped he felt
no one realized
that he felt like a burden
everyone loved him so
but to our dismay
love wasn't enough
