Shutup-By Susan Thomas

Strolled in confident
came in with understanding
now your confusing words
throw me in a tizzy
your words
wipe away my confidence
your words
destroy my understanding
trying desperately
to tune out your words
desperatly clinging to my understanding
clutching my confidence
when your words seep though
confidence and understanding
run like sand though my fingers
I pray you shut up
I hope you give up
your words do no good
they insure failure
for the love of god
shut up

  2. It should be mentioned that the above poem is about my stats class. The teacher can't teach. Hence the poem was written while trying to tune her out so I could continue to understand what was written in the textbook.
